Migra Ammunition Pheasant Long Range Features The Migra Pheasant Long Range shell stacks number 4 shot over number 6 shot within a single 1-1/4 ounce payload giving hunters the combined benefit of larger pellets for penetration and smaller pellets for pattern density. High brass construction supports the pressures needed to drive that stacked payload to consistent velocity shot after shot. Migra s custom wads and powders were engineered specifically for this load to hold a tight even pattern through extended ranges rather than opening up too quickly. That combination is built to handle hard flushing pheasants that break early and climb fast exactly the scenario this shell was designed to solve. As Migra s first pheasant specific load this shell reflects a deliberate design process aimed at long tailed birds and extended range shots rather than a general purpose upland load repurposed for pheasant hunting. The 3 inch shell length fits the wide range of 20 gauge shotguns hunters already carry into the field from lightweight over unders to pump actions. Packed 25 rounds per box it gives hunters enough rounds for a full day chasing roosters across open cover and cut cornfields. This Migra Pheasant Long Range load is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters who want a shell purpose built for late season long range pheasant hunting.
