Kershaw Mini Iridium Features The Kershaw Mini Iridium runs on a KVT ball bearing pivot system activated by a thumb stud giving the blade a smooth buttery deployment every time it opens. Once open the DuraLock mechanism engages a solid steel crossbar to hold the blade firmly in place and pulling the ambidextrous lock back releases it just as easily for safe controlled closing. The 3 inch D2 steel blade is ground in a spear point shape with a plain edge a versatile profile suited to everyday cutting tasks from opening packages to general utility work. Its stonewashed finish adds a bit of texture while helping hide the fine scratches that come with regular use. The handle is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a black anodized coating that gives the knife a stealthy understated look. A backspacer with an integrated lanyard hole allows for an additional retention option when carrying the knife on a bag or belt loop. A reversible deep carry pocket clip keeps the knife riding low in the pocket and can be set up for left or right hand carry depending on the user s preference. At just 2.5 ounces and a 3.9 inch closed length the Mini Iridium carries easily every day while still offering a full size blade s worth of utility.
