HSM/Hunting Shack Subsonic Features The HSM/Hunting Shack Subsonic load in 8.6 Blackout is built around a 300 grain jacketed hollow point boat tail bullet engineered to stay below the sound barrier while still delivering consistent expansion on impact. Running at a rated 960 fps this load falls solidly within subsonic velocity which keeps report down when paired with a suppressor and reduces the sonic crack that otherwise gives away a shooter s position. The boat tail profile reduces drag in flight helping the bullet retain energy and resist wind drift better than a flat base design at comparable distances. With 614 ft lbs of muzzle energy on tap this load still carries enough authority for ethical hunting shots and serious range work despite its reduced velocity. Each box ships with brass cased ammunition a format reloaders and shooters alike prefer for its reliable extraction consistent pressures and the ability to reload spent cases for additional practice sessions. The 300 grain bullet weight pairs naturally with the 8.6 Blackout cartridge s larger bore diameter giving shooters a heavier flatter shooting subsonic option than smaller caliber alternatives typically offer. This 20-round box is sized for range sessions load development and suppressed hunting trips where a shooter wants to verify function before heading afield. Whether used for quiet backyard practice or serious suppressed hunting applications the HSM/Hunting Shack Subsonic 8.6 Blackout load is available for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who demand dependable subsonic performance.
