HSM/Hunting Shack Bear Load Features The HSM/Hunting Shack Bear Load centers on a heavy 230 grain round nose flat point bullet a design chosen specifically for its ability to punch through thick hide muscle and bone while maintaining a straight line of travel. The flat point profile promotes controlled expansion and a wide wound channel compared to a standard round nose improving terminal performance on large dangerous animals. Brass casing construction supports reliable extraction and consistent chamber pressures across repeated firings. This combination of bullet design and case quality reflects HSM s focus on ammunition built for demanding backcountry use. Chambered in the powerful 10mm cartridge this load takes full advantage of the round s inherent velocity and energy advantages over smaller defensive calibers. Packed 20 rounds per box it is sized appropriately for carrying into the field as a dedicated bear defense load or for range testing before a hunting trip. Hunters hikers and anyone spending time in bear country will appreciate the added confidence a purpose built heavy bullet load provides. For those who need a serious 10mm option for backcountry protection the HSM/Hunting Shack Bear Load delivers dependable hard hitting performance.
