Hornady Reloading Block Features The Hornady Reloading Block is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum a material chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to the wear a reloading bench sees over years of use. The anodized red finish is not just cosmetic it protects the aluminum surface from the oils and residues that come with repeated handling of brass and bullets. Holding 100 cases at once the block gives a reloader room to prep a full batch of .308 Win or 6.5 Creedmoor brass in one pass rather than working in small groups. The cylindrical cavities are sized specifically for the .30-06 .308 and Creedmoor cartridge families so cases sit upright and secure without wobbling during powder charging or bullet seating. Stability is the whole point of a loading block and this one delivers it from a rigid aluminum body that will not flex or crack the way plastic blocks eventually do. Keeping cases organized in neat rows reduces the chance of double-charging a case or skipping one entirely a real safety benefit during manual reloading sessions. The red anodized finish also makes the block easy to spot amid other bench equipment and it holds up visually over seasons of use rather than fading or staining. For reloaders who want a durable precision-made block that will outlast cheaper alternatives the Hornady Reloading Block is a dependable addition to any home reloading setup.
