Heritage Firearms Badlander Features The Heritage Mfg Badlander is built around a traditional side by side layout based on the legendary western double guns that defined an era of American shotgun design. Its two 18.5 inch barrels are finished in a modern black chrome coating that trades the maintenance demands of old world bluing for improved corrosion resistance without sacrificing the gun s classic silhouette. The break open action locks up on an alloy steel receiver giving the Badlander a solid durable platform that stands up to repeated use in the field or at the range. A tang mounted safety keeps the manual of arms simple and intuitive matching the straightforward operating philosophy behind the whole design. Between the two barrels sits a brass bead front sight offering the kind of fast point and shoot aiming reference that side by side shotguns have relied on for generations. At an overall length of 34.85 inches and a weight of 6.4 pounds the Badlander stays light and maneuverable enough for quick handling in brush blinds or tight shooting bays. The 2.26 inch width and 7.1 inch height keep the gun s profile compact and easy to carry over long days afield. The Heritage Badlander in 12 GA is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters and shooters who want the heritage feel of a classic side by side with a more durable modern finish.
