Heckler and Koch VP9A1 F Tactical Features The Heckler and Koch VP9A1 F Tactical builds on the VP9 s proven striker-fired action with a redesigned trigger group featuring a nickel-Teflon coated trigger bar delivering a smoother more consistent pull shot after shot. Improved ambidextrous controls put the slide release and magazine release within equal reach of left and right-handed shooters a genuine advantage in a duty or competition environment. A factory-flared magwell speeds reloads under time pressure and the 5.10 inch steel barrel is threaded M13.5x1LH to accept suppressors or muzzle devices. This combination of ergonomic and mechanical upgrades is what separates the A1 Tactical variant from a standard VP9. This configuration ships with both a 17-round and a 20-round magazine giving the shooter flexibility to run a flush-fitting magazine for concealment or an extended magazine for maximum capacity. Additional front and rear maritime slide serrations combined with a serrated frame surface give a tactile reference point for secure manipulation even under stress or with wet hands. The optic-ready steel slide accepts a red dot sight directly while tritium and serrated sights provide a fast reliable backup sight picture. Shooters seeking a highly configurable duty-capable 9mm pistol with genuine ambidextrous ergonomics will find the VP9A1 F Tactical built for exactly that role.
