Heckler and Koch VP9A1 Match Features The Heckler and Koch VP9A1 Match builds on the VP9 s well documented reputation for helping shooters shoot better a reputation backed by law enforcement reports of qualifying scores improving after adopting the platform. The 5.51 inch polygonal rifled steel barrel is cut with a 1 in 9.8 inch twist rate and finished to work reliably with a wide range of 9mm ammunition. A Vortex Defender ST enclosed red dot sight comes mounted on the optics ready slide which features a lightening cut designed specifically around the optic s footprint for a lower more secure mounting interface. The pistol ships with two magazines giving the shooter a 10+1 capacity on the first mag and a spare ready to go. The polymer frame carries a Picatinny rail for mounting a light or laser and the enhanced trigger uses a nickel Teflon coated trigger bar for a smoother more consistent pull at a 5.40 pound weight. Ambidextrous controls and a trigger safety combined with a firing pin block give the VP9A1 Match a secure reliable manual of arms regardless of the shooter s dominant hand. Interchangeable backstraps included in five sizes along with six grip panels let the shooter fully customize the grip circumference and texture to their hand. Additional front and rear maritime serrations and a serrated frame surface give the shooter a tactile reference point and confident purchase in wet or gloved conditions rounding out a package available for sale at GrabAGun.
