Griffin Armament 45 Degree Picatinny QD Sling Swivel Socket Features The Griffin Armament 45 Degree Picatinny QD Socket is machined from stainless steel and finished with a QPQ Nitride coating that resists corrosion and wear through years of hard use. The 45 degree angle positions a quick detach sling swivel for a more natural carry angle than a straight vertical socket helping the rifle hang closer to the body during transitions. A 4 position anti-rotation design keeps the socket from spinning once it is torqued down maintaining a consistent sling angle shot after shot. The low profile design minimizes both added weight and the amount of forend real estate it consumes keeping the rail space open for other accessories. Installation is straightforward attaching directly to a Picatinny rail slot with the included screws torqued to 14 inch pounds and Griffin Armament recommends blue thread sealant to keep the hardware from backing out under recoil. Because it mounts to any standard Picatinny rail the socket works across a wide range of rifle platforms without requiring a specific host. This gives builders a custom purpose built look and feel compared to bulkier aftermarket sling mount options. The Griffin Armament 45 Degree Picatinny QD Socket is available for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who want a compact properly angled sling attachment point on a Picatinny equipped rifle.
