Griffin Armament MK1 Patrol Features The Griffin Armament MK1 Patrol runs a tuned rifle-length gas system paired with a suppressor optimized buffer system giving the carbine a soft reliable cycle whether a can is mounted or not. Its 416R stainless steel barrel is machined to 14.5 and finished in black anodize then fitted with a pinned and welded Griffin Silencer Mount muzzle device to bring the rifle to a legal 16 overall length. That factory pin and weld means the shooter gets the handling of a short carbine without the NFA paperwork a true 14.5 barrel would require. The 1/2x28 thread pattern underneath the muzzle device and the manual safety keep the rifle straightforward to operate under stress. The forged upper and lower are finished in Warhawk green anodize with anti-rotation tabbed rail locks that key the Picatinny top rail into the upper for a repeatable rock-solid mounting platform for optics. An M-LOK handguard wraps the gas system for lights grips and slings while the Griffin Extreme Condition black polymer stock and black A3 grip give the shooter adjustable duty-ready ergonomics. At 6.95 lbs and 31 inches overall the rifle stays maneuverable in a patrol vehicle or through a doorway without sacrificing the balance a 14.5 barrel provides. Feeding from a 30-round magazine for 30+1 capacity the Griffin Armament MK1 Patrol is built to be issued carried and trusted on the front line.
