Federal American Eagle Features Federal American Eagle .40 SW ammunition is loaded with a 180 grain full metal jacket bullet designed for dependable feeding and consistent accuracy on the range. At approximately 1000 FPS this load generates roughly 400 ft-lbs of muzzle energy giving shooters realistic recoil and function for practice with their duty or carry pistol. Brass cases and Boxer primers keep the ammunition compatible with reloading equipment for shooters who process their own brass. Federal s American Eagle line is built specifically for high volume training so quality stays consistent round after round. This ammunition ships in a 500 round quantity giving shooters enough supply to cover multiple range sessions or a full day of training without running short. The full metal jacket bullet design resists deformation during feeding helping reduce malfunctions in a wide range of .40 SW pistols. Consistent Federal quality control means shooters can count on uniform velocity and point of impact from round to round. Range shooters instructors and competitive shooters needing bulk .40 SW ammunition will get solid value from this American Eagle load.
