DPMS AR10 Bolt Catch Assembly Features The DPMS AR10 Bolt Catch Assembly includes everything needed to replace a worn or malfunctioning bolt catch on an AR-10 pattern rifle bundling the bolt catch itself along with its detent detent spring and roll pin into one three piece kit. Because bolt catch function is critical for reliable bolt hold open after the last round fires a worn detent spring or a chipped catch can lead to failures to lock back making this assembly a useful repair part for rifles seeing heavy round counts. The black finish matches the factory finish used across DPMS AR-10 builds keeping the completed repair visually consistent with the rest of the rifle. DPMS Panther Arms positions itself as a dedicated source for AR-10 specific parts accessories and complete firearms and this bolt catch assembly reflects that focus on platform specific components rather than generic AR parts. The company specifically recommends using only DPMS AR-10 or PSA PA10 parts with their uppers and lowers since tolerances between different AR-10 pattern manufacturers can vary enough to affect fit and function. For owners performing routine maintenance building a parts inventory or repairing a rifle after a failure this assembly offers a direct factory correct replacement path.
