CVA Cascade XT Features The CVA Cascade XT builds around a medium contour Bergara fluted barrel a design that balances weight reduction with the rigidity needed for consistent accuracy shot after shot. A radial muzzle brake threaded onto the 5/8x24 muzzle helps tame recoil from the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge making it easier to spot impacts through the scope without losing the sight picture. The 1:8 twist rate stabilizes the full range of 6.5 Creedmoor bullet weights from lighter varmint style loads to heavier long range match bullets. An oversized bolt knob is easy to grip in gloves or cold wet conditions keeping the action smooth to cycle when hands are compromised by weather. The Picatinny rail machined into the steel receiver gives a solid repeatable mounting surface for a riflescope and the premium adjustable trigger breaks anywhere from 2 to 4 lbs so the shooter can tune pull weight to their preference. Finished in Midnight Bronze Cerakote across both the barrel and receiver the rifle resists corrosion and wear while standing out from a standard matte black finish. The adjustable synthetic stock is wrapped in Mossy Oak Bottomland camo giving concealment in timbered hunting environments while letting the shooter dial in length of pull and comb height. At 7.3 lbs with a 4+1 capacity the Cascade XT is backed by CVA s accuracy and satisfaction guarantees making it a dependable choice for hunters stepping up from a basic bolt gun.
