CVA Cascade XT Features The CVA Cascade XT is built around a heavier number 5 taper fluted barrel that adds stability and improves balance allowing rapid follow-up shots without the accuracy loss that comes from excessive barrel heating. That 22 barrel carries a 1:10 twist rate suited to a range of .308 Win bullet weights and its 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts CVA s radial muzzle brake or a suppressor for hunters and shooters who want reduced recoil. The Graphite Black Cerakote finish on both the barrel and receiver resists corrosion in wet field conditions. A Picatinny rail on the receiver gives shooters a direct repeatable mounting platform for glass without needing separate bases. The OD Green synthetic stock with black webbing is built in a left-hand configuration and holds a 4-round detachable magazine for quick reloads in the field. A two-position thumb safety gives straightforward tactile control over the action and the tactical-style bolt knob provides better leverage for fast cycling especially from the prone position where a standard knob is harder to grip. At 7.3 lbs and 42.5 overall the rifle balances portability for a long day of hunting with the heft needed to manage recoil in heavier calibers. For left-handed hunters chasing deer hogs or other big game the Cascade XT delivers a precision-oriented factory rifle without the wait of a custom build.
