CMMG Ambi-Magazine Catch Features The CMMG Ambi-Magazine Catch addresses a long-standing limitation of the AR15 platform which has traditionally been built around right-handed shooters needing to break their grip to reach the magazine release. By replacing the standard mag catch with this ambidextrous version left-handed shooters gain the ability to drop a magazine without ever moving their firing hand off the grip. This keeps the rifle oriented toward the target throughout a reload which matters in both defensive and competitive shooting scenarios. The part installs the same way as a factory magazine catch meaning no special tools or modifications are required beyond a standard parts swap. This catch is compatible with the original factory mag release button as well as aftermarket versions so shooters who have already upgraded other controls on their rifle are not forced to replace those parts as well. Being compatible with all AR15 and M16 rifles means the part fits the overwhelming majority of rifles already in a builder s safe. Finished in Black to match standard AR15 hardware the catch blends in visually while adding genuine functional value for left-handed or ambidextrous shooters. For anyone looking to make their AR15 platform work equally well for any shooter the CMMG Ambi-Magazine Catch is available for sale at GrabAGun.
