Chiappa Firearms 92 Wildlands Field Features The Chiappa Firearms 1892 Wildlands Field is built on the proven 92 Series lever action platform chambered in .44 Mag for versatile hunting and range use. An 8 plus 1 capacity tubular magazine feeds through a 16.5 barrel with a 1-in-30 rate of twist giving the rifle enough reach for medium game at woods and field ranges. A half cock hammer safety feature adds a layer of protection when carrying the rifle afield with a round in the chamber. A checkered walnut stock with a rubber buttpad rounds out the Wildlands Field s traditional profile while improving comfort on repeated shots. Sight-wise the rifle ships with a red fiber optic front sight paired with a Skinner peep rear sight mounted on a Picatinny rail giving shooters a fast precise aiming system or the option to add an optic.
