Chiappa Firearms 92 Wildlands Field Features The Chiappa Firearms 92 Wildlands Field uses an angle eject receiver design that allows a scope or optic to be mounted directly over the action without interference from ejected cases. Chambered in .44 Magnum the rifle feeds from an 8+1 capacity tubular magazine giving hunters a quick follow-up shot capability in thick brush or close-range hunting situations. The 16.5 inch barrel is threaded to a 5/8x24 pattern letting hunters add a suppressor to reduce report for hunting near livestock or in noise-sensitive areas. A half cock hammer serves as the rifle s primary safety feature a traditional design element of the lever action platform. Sight options include a red fiber optic front sight paired with a Skinner peep rear sight mounted on a Picatinny rail giving shooters a fast precise aiming reference without sacrificing optic mounting options. The black metal finish stands up to field use and weather exposure during hunting seasons. A walnut stock with checkered panels and a rubber buttpad rounds out the rifle s classic styling while softening the recoil of .44 Magnum loads. At 35 inches overall the 92 Wildlands Field remains a compact maneuverable lever gun well suited to hunting in dense cover.
