Caldwell Flash Bang Features The Caldwell Flash Bang uses low impact energy detection to register hits from calibers as small as .223 at ranges out to 1 000 yards triggering its ten flashing green LEDs the instant the target is struck. That sensitivity means shooters working at distance do not need a spotter or binoculars to know a shot connected since the flash is visible for thousands of yards even under bright daylight conditions. The self-contained design runs on three included AA batteries rated for more than 5 000 impacts so it holds up through extended range sessions without frequent battery swaps. This makes it a practical tool for anyone sighting in a long-range rifle or practicing precision shots on steel. The compact versatile housing works on most steel targets over five inches and attaches in seconds using heavy-duty hook and loop material requiring no tools or permanent mounting hardware. That quick attachment means the indicator can be moved between targets or stored easily when not in use. Its black plastic housing is built to withstand repeated impacts from nearby shots without interfering with the steel target itself. Whether used for load development competition practice or casual range trips the Flash Bang brings a simple reliable way to confirm hits at distance.
