Battle Arms Development Authority Elite Features The Battle Arms Development Authority Elite is built around a billet BAD556 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum receiver that integrates ambidextrous controls directly into the housing rather than relying on add on parts. A free float rail handguard provides M-LOK attachment points at the 3 6 and 9 o clock positions for lights grips and other accessories while a full length Picatinny rail runs along the 12 o clock position with a signature notch cut that matches the upper receiver. This combination gives the shooter flexible accessory placement without sacrificing the free float accuracy benefits of the barrel. The receiver s integral design reduces the number of separate parts that can work loose or wear over time. Every Authority Elite barrel is cut from 4150 chrome moly steel and finished in black nitride for durability and corrosion resistance under hard use. Each barrel is individually head spaced and paired with a matching 9310 steel bolt and 8620 black nitride carrier a combination chosen for reliability and ease of cleaning after a hard range session. The mid length gas system used on this build promotes smooth reliable cycling while reducing both recoil and wear compared to a shorter gas system. At 10.5 inches the Black Nitride barrel keeps the rifle short and maneuverable and this SBR in Combat Gray with a 30 round magazine is a serious choice for close quarters work.
