Battle Arms Development Xiphos Features The Battle Arms Development Xiphos centers on a billet BAD-GS 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum receiver mated to a free float M-LOK handguard with attachment points at the 3 6 and 9 oclock positions for lights grips and other accessories. At the 12 oclock position sits a full length Picatinny accessory rail with a signature notch cut that matches the upper receiver giving the shooter a consistent optics mounting surface along the entire top of the gun. The 4150 chrome moly steel barrel is matched to an 8620 steel black nitride blowback bolt a combination chosen for its toughness and for resisting the fouling that blowback operated 9mm pistols tend to generate. That bolt and barrel pairing is what lets the Xiphos keep cycling reliably through hard range sessions without demanding constant cleaning between strings. Handling the Xiphos day to day is built around the RACK ambidextrous charging handle a monolithic design with a smooth side sliding latch engineered to take repeated abuse without failing. An extended magazine release a one piece magazine catch and enhanced takedown and pivot pins make loading unloading and field stripping the gun fast and tool-less which matters most when working the gun under time pressure. The enhanced bolt catch and single side safety keep the manual of arms simple while the adjustable three position pistol grip and Black Synthetic pistol brace let a shooter dial in a stance that suits their frame and shooting style. Finished in Combat Gray on the receiver with a Black barrel and Black stock components the Xiphos pairs a 30+1 magazine capacity with a lightweight compact footprint that makes it a strong choice for home defense or range training.
