Barnes Bullets LRX Features The Barnes Bullets LRX bullet is engineered with razor-sharp petals that peel back on impact to create massive wound channels even when driven into dense thick-skinned game. Weighing 152 grains and measuring .284 inches in diameter this 7mm projectile is built as a lead-free jacketed design that still delivers deep penetration alongside dramatic expansion. The boat tail base and a .467 ballistic coefficient work together to reduce drag helping the bullet hold velocity and energy at extended ranges where a hunter needs every bit of terminal performance. An overall length of 1.46 inches keeps the bullet compatible with established 7mm reloading data for consistent repeatable seating depths. Near double diameter expansion paired with higher weight retention than most projectiles on the market today means handloaders get a bullet that performs reliably whether the shot is close or stretched out. These are component bullets intended strictly for handloading not loaded ammunition and arrive packed 50 to a box for reloaders who want a consistent supply on the bench. The combination of controlled expansion and deep penetration makes the LRX a strong choice for big game hunters loading their own long-range rounds. Barnes Bullets built its reputation on all-copper and lead-free performance and the LRX continues that legacy for reloaders chasing dependable terminal results.
