Apex Ammunition Waterfowl TSS/S3 Features The Apex Ammunition Waterfowl TSS/S3 load blends standard steel shot with roughly a quarter ounce of Tungsten Super Shot a combination Apex calls a duplex or blend designed to maximize pattern density while adding the knockdown power TSS is known for. This mix helps address one of waterfowl hunting s biggest frustrations cripples that are hit but not cleanly downed by increasing the number of effective pellets on target at typical hunting ranges. Loaded to a 1400 fps muzzle velocity in a 3 inch 12 gauge shell this round delivers the speed and payload density that serious waterfowl hunters expect from a premium load. The 1-5/16 ounce payload strikes a balance between pattern density and manageable recoil across a day in the blind. Apex offers this load across multiple shot size combinations to match different waterfowl species and hunting conditions with heavier BB/7.5 and 2/7.5 blends recommended for geese and cranes and lighter 2/7.5 or 4/7.5 blends suited to sea ducks and puddle ducks. This particular load carries a 3/8 shot size combination giving hunters a specific pattern profile tailored to the birds they are pursuing. Boxed 25 rounds at a time with options to buy by the case this shell is built for hunters who shoot enough rounds each season to want consistency from box to box. For waterfowl hunters looking to upgrade their pattern performance Apex Ammunition Waterfowl TSS/S3 is available for sale at GrabAGun.
