Alien Gear Photon Holster Features The Alien Gear Holsters Photon Holster uses a proprietary polymer blend to keep a slim low-profile shape on the waistband while still housing a compact weapon light alongside the pistol. That polymer construction resists wear from daily holstering and drawing far better than softer materials which matters for anyone carrying the same rig day after day. The holster is molded specifically to fit the Glock 17 family so retention and draw feel stay consistent instead of relying on a universal loose-fitting shell. This fit-specific approach is what lets the Photon stay slim while still being light compatible a combination that is hard to find in a one-piece outside waistband design. The ambidextrous design means the same holster serves right and left-handed carriers without needing a mirrored version simplifying stock and giving every user the identical retention characteristics. Professional-grade materials throughout the build are meant to hold up under the demands of civilians law enforcement and military personnel so the holster performs the same whether it is worn for a training day or a full duty shift. The outside waistband mounting style keeps the holster accessible and fast on the draw while the Black finish stays low profile under a cover garment. Riding outside the pants also makes holstering and re-holstering with a light attached noticeably easier than it is in many inside the waistband designs.
