evo.com | Volkl Skis > Where the Revolt 114 is all about big mountains, big air and figure 11's, the new Volkl Revolt 112 Skis provide a similar platform with a mellower personality and better maneuverability at sane speeds. In tight technical terrain and trees, when the 114 can feel out of sorts, the 112 handles quick directional changes with ease. Kudos to the crew at Volkl for delivering two great options in this sector; some skiers will want both. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. 3D Radius Sidecut Three radii in one ski shape deliver maximum versatility - long radii at the tip and tail for stability and smoothness, and a short radius in the mid-body allows the skier to switch from long arcs to short turns at will, at any speed. Full Sidewall Direct and strong power transmission with full length sidewalls. Multilayer Woodcore A combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood surrounding it. Tip & Tail Rocker Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle. Freeride enthusiasts looking to drive wider skis without fear of pre-release have long looked to the Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings for their fantastic performance and reliability. They return with a re-worked Inter Pivot 3 heelpiece that significantly improves step in performance, thus eliminating the one qualm that some users had. Meanwhile, the redesigned Triple Pivot Elite 3 toe comes equipped with a new metal rail to scratch off ice and snow below your boot sole. And with Sole.ID technology to accommodate almost every boot sole norm, the Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings have you covered each and every time you click in. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Inter Pivot 3 Heel The newest generation Inter Pivot heel offers improved step-in performance, with a magnesium heel bracket for power transmission and energy absorption. Triple Pivot Elite 3 Toe Toe construction with impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5deg it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains.
