evo.com | Volkl Skis > Rock solid at the limit, and with edgehold and precision second to none, the Volkl Mantra 88 Skis top the sales charts in the carving category for evo (and probably a lot of other retailers as well). 2027 is the second year for this design, with only a color change to a deeper blue, and in our opinion that's just fine. The placement and design of the tailored Titanal and Carbon elements paired with the proven 3D Radius sidecut make this the best of a long line of 88mm skis dating to the Kendo. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. 3D Radius Sidecut Three radii in one ski shape deliver maximum versatility - long radii at the tip and tail for stability and smoothness, and a short radius in the mid-body allows the skier to switch from long arcs to short turns at will, at any speed. Full Sidewall Direct and strong power transmission with full length sidewalls. Tailored Carbon Tips In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the stress lines, opening up completely new possibilities, for performance at the front of the ski, which has a decisive influence on handling. Multlayer Woodcore The combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood surrounding it. Look is bringing the greatness of the legendary Pivot design to the masses with all new 11 and 13 DIN versions replacing the "12." The regular stuff applies - absolute lateral security at the heel, outstanding elasticity and the shortest mounting footprint in the business - but now there's a DIN range suitable for women and 'tweens with the Look Pivot 2.0 11 GW Ski Bindings. An outstanding addition to the Pivot lineup. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. 180deg Multi-Directional Release A true mechanical upward release that functions independently from the heel for the most effective multi-directional protection in the case of a fall. Smaller Mounting Zone The shortest mounting zone of any alpine binding available provides less swing weight, improved response, and a deeper, rounder, more consistent ski flex. Turntable Heel Look's unique turntable design rotates directly under the tibia for reduced risk of injury and provides 28mm of elastic travel to deliver unmatched shock absorption for significant reduction of pre-release. 7 Points of Contact More points-of-contact with the boot results in increased lateral energy transmission, drives more power to the edge of the ski and provides superior control, response, and snow feel. | Volkl Mantra 88 Skis 2027 - 170 Package (170 cm) + 105 Adult Alpine Bindings Size 170/105
