The Jones Happy Mountain snowboard binding cuts a first-timer's setup down to one strap and one buckle, paired with a soft flex that stays forgiving through wobbly early runs. Its size-adjustable nylon highback fits a wide boot-size range, and a lightweight polycarbonate baseplate keeps the whole binding easy for a small rider to manage. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"My kid clips the single buckle in without any help now, so I'm not crouched in the snow before every run. The soft flex lets them wobble through the first turns without the binding fighting back."
