Zastava Arms USA ZPAP M70 Retro Features The ZPAP M70 Retro is built around a 1.5mm bulged trunnion receiver a significantly thicker and more durable receiver design than standard stamped AK receivers giving the rifle enhanced strength and longevity. The 16.5 chrome lined barrel resists corrosion and wear from repeated firing extending the barrel s service life while maintaining accuracy across a 1:9.5 twist rate matched to 7.62x39mm ballistics. A Yugo grip and beechwood stock and handguard give the rifle an authentic retro appearance that pays homage to classic AK-pattern rifles. For AK enthusiasts who want genuine retro styling paired with a reinforced modern receiver the ZPAP M70 Retro delivers both without compromise. Open adjustable rifle sights provide a fast reliable sighting system suited to close and moderate engagement distances. The 14x1mm LH threaded muzzle accepts muzzle devices designed for this common AK thread pattern and a lever safety keeps operation simple and familiar for AK-pattern rifle owners. At 7.9 lbs and 35 inches overall the rifle carries the balanced heft shooters expect from a traditional milled or bulged-trunnion AK build.
