Taylors and Company TC73 Features The Taylors and Company TC73 brings the 1873 lever-action platform into 9mm Luger giving shooters an authentic period rifle design chambered in a caliber that is both affordable and widely available for high-volume shooting. A Taylor Tuned action smooths the lever cycle for faster more reliable follow-up shots than an unmodified factory action typically provides a meaningful benefit for cowboy action competitors working against the clock. The 18 barrel is threaded 5/8x24 allowing shooters to add a suppressor or muzzle device a modern touch on an otherwise classic design. Lever-action enthusiasts and competitive cowboy action shooters who want authentic styling paired with tuned reliability will find the TC73 built for the discipline. A color case hardened receiver provides a striking traditional contrast against the blued barrel and rich American walnut stock giving the TC73 the classic look collectors and reenactors seek. Dovetail bead front and semi-buckhorn rear sights the latter with a reversible notch plate offer quick and traditional sight acquisition at typical cowboy action distances. Every part on this rifle is manufactured and finished in the USA reflecting Taylors commitment to domestic craftsmanship on a historically significant design. Shooters looking for a genuinely American-made 1873 lever rifle in a fun affordable 9mm chambering will find the TC73 ready for the range or the match.
