Rosco Manufacturing Bloodline Barrel Features The Rosco Manufacturing Bloodline barrel is engineered specifically for modern carbine shooters running SBR or pistol-length AR-15 builds moving well beyond the specs of a legacy sporter barrel. Rosco selected the twist rate gas port diameter and barrel material specifically for this 12.5 length rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach across their lineup. The 1:7 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 bullet weights from lightweight varmint loads to heavier match projectiles giving builders flexibility in ammunition selection. Chrome moly vanadium steel construction provides the strength needed for sustained fire in a compact platform. A nitride finish protects the bore and exterior from corrosion while easing cleaning after extended range sessions or suppressed shooting. The barrel s dwell time is managed specifically for short-barrel and suppressor-ready configurations helping maintain reliable cycling where many shorter barrels struggle. A 1/2x28 thread pattern accepts standard muzzle devices comps or suppressors for shooters building out a patrol-style carbine. For AR-15 builders looking to create a balanced intermediate-length rifle for both SBR and RECCE-style configurations this barrel delivers precision performance in a compact footprint.
