RIX Storm S2R Features The RIX Storm S2R is built around a 256x192 VOx uncooled thermal sensor with a 12 micron pixel pitch and sub 25 mK NETD delivering a crisp high contrast thermal image even in demanding field conditions. A 25mm F1.0 objective lens and 3.5x base magnification extendable to 4x through digital zoom give the shooter flexibility to scan wide areas or zero in on a distant target. The integrated laser rangefinder measures out to 1200 meters with roughly one meter accuracy letting hunters make fast confident holdover decisions without a separate rangefinding device. A 1300 meter detection range keeps game and other heat signatures visible well beyond typical practical shooting distances. An AMOLED display at 1024x768 resolution renders a bright detailed image through a 48mm eye relief window with adjustable diopter from negative five to positive five diopters. Built in video and photo recording saves footage directly to 32GB of onboard memory in standard mp4 and jpg formats for later review or sharing. Powered by an 18650 rechargeable battery rated for 4.5 hours of use with USB Type-C charging the Storm S2R stays ready through a full evening in the field. Rated IP67 for dust and water resistance and mounted via a Picatinny interface the RIX Storm S2R delivers a durable feature rich thermal riflescope for serious hunters and shooters.
