RIX Storm S3R Features The RIX Storm S3R pairs a 384x288 12-micron VOx sensor rated NETD under 25mK with a 50 Hz refresh rate delivering a smooth detailed thermal image that keeps up with moving game at range. Its 35mm objective lens provides 3.5x true optical zoom and a 7.5 degree field of view while 1 to 4x digital zoom extends reach for closer target identification without losing the base sight picture. A detection range out to 1969 yards gives hunters ample warning of game or hogs approaching from distance well before they are within shooting range. The 1024x768 AMOLED display renders a crisp high-contrast image that stays legible in total darkness. Built to an IP67 rating the Storm S3R shrugs off rain dust and rough field handling during long nights in the stand or on a spot-and-stalk hog hunt. Its 18650 rechargeable battery delivers roughly four hours of runtime and the quick-detach replaceable battery design lets hunters swap in a charged cell without missing time in the field. Built-in Wi-Fi and 32GB of onboard storage let users capture and review video and photos directly from the unit for later analysis. Mounting via a standard Picatinny rail the Storm S3R fits easily onto most modern hunting rifles for a complete thermal hunting setup.
