Pedersoli Mississippi Features The Pedersoli Mississippi is built on a rolling block action chambered for .38-55 Win a proven cast bullet cartridge favored by black powder cartridge shooters and long-range target competitors. The 26 blued barrel carries a 1:18 twist rate matched to the cartridge s traditional bullet weights which means consistent stabilization and repeatable accuracy at extended distances. The rolling block design is prized for its simplicity and strength giving the shooter a dependable lockup with minimal moving parts to maintain in the field. This single shot configuration rewards deliberate well-placed shots making it a natural fit for silhouette shooting and historical rifle matches. The American walnut stock gives the rifle a warm traditional look while providing a solid comfortable cheek weld for aiming down the adjustable rear sight and sight leaf. At 41.9 overall length and 7.25 lbs the rifle balances well for offhand shooting without feeling unwieldy on the line. The satin nickel receiver is finished to contrast handsomely against the blued barrel and walnut furniture giving the rifle a distinctive period-correct appearance. For collectors and single shot rifle enthusiasts who want a well-built rolling block in a classic cartridge the Pedersoli Mississippi delivers old-world craftsmanship for sale at GrabAGun.
