Franklin Armory CVR Features The Franklin Armory CVR is built around a 16 midlength gas system that smooths recoil impulse and reduces cyclic wear compared to a standard carbine-length setup giving shooters a softer-shooting rifle across extended range sessions. The 1:10 rate of twist stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington bullet weights so the rifle stays versatile whether loaded with lightweight varmint rounds or heavier match-grade projectiles. Semi-automatic operation and a colored metal finish combine reliability with a distinctive look that sets the CVR apart from a plain black rifle. This midlength configuration is engineered to deliver dependable cycling and consistent accuracy for range training and home-defense use. A synthetic stock keeps the CVR lightweight at roughly 8 pounds while standing up to rough handling moisture and repeated use without the weight penalty of a wood or metal furniture set. The 34 overall length strikes a practical balance between maneuverability in tight spaces and a stable sight radius for aimed fire at distance. A 30-round detachable magazine ships standard giving shooters ample capacity right out of the box without needing to source extras immediately. Together these features make the CVR a well-rounded ready-to-run AR platform for shooters building out a first rifle or adding a reliable spare to the safe.
