Faxon Firearms FX700SA Hunter Features The Faxon Firearms FX700SA Hunter is built on Faxon s own FX7 short action chambered in 8.6 Blackout with a 16 threaded barrel cut to a 1:30 twist to properly stabilize this cartridge s heavier subsonic-capable projectiles at both supersonic and subsonic velocities. The threaded muzzle accepts a suppressor for reduced report and recoil a natural pairing for the 8.6 Blackout s design intent as a purpose-built suppressor-host cartridge for hunters and precision shooters alike. A Timney trigger delivers a crisp consistent break that helps shooters extract maximum accuracy from the action shot after shot. The MDT ACIS-compatible magazine feeds reliably and allows shooters to draw on the broader MDT magazine ecosystem for spares and upgrades giving the platform long-term flexibility as a hunting and range rifle. The Phoenix Burnt Sand camo synthetic stock provides durable weather-resistant furniture that holds up to field conditions without the maintenance wood demands keeping the rifle ready through rain mud and rough handling. A top-mounted Picatinny rail gives shooters a ready mounting surface for a wide range of optics without additional gunsmithing making it simple to mount a hunting scope or a precision optic to match the cartridge s capability. At just 6.6 pounds and a compact 35.5 overall length the FX700SA Hunter is easy to carry through rough terrain on extended hunts without wearing down the shooter over a long day afield. Faxon s reputation for precision-machined barrels and actions carries through to this short action hunting rifle giving shooters a purpose-built platform for the growing 8.6 Blackout cartridge backed by a manufacturer known for tight tolerances and dependable performance.
