Cimarron 1874 Sharps Features The Cimarron Firearms 1874 Sharps Deluxe uses a falling block action a design renowned for its strength and its role in the history of American long-range shooting. The 32 octagon barrel with a 1:18 twist rate is built for stabilizing heavy .45-70 Government bullets at extended ranges matching the ballistic heritage of the original Sharps rifles. Double set triggers give the shooter the option of a light crisp release for precision work letting the rifle be tuned to the shooter s preference. At 10.25 lbs the rifle s weight helps tame recoil from its powerful cartridge supporting a stable accurate hold. The case-hardened steel frame carries a distinctive color pattern that develops naturally through the heat-treating process giving each rifle a unique finish alongside its blued barrel. Deluxe AAA-grade walnut furniture completes the classic look offering a rifle that feels as good as it shoots. This combination of traditional materials and historically proven action makes the 1874 Sharps Deluxe a standout choice for collectors and cartridge rifle shooters alike. Built to honor the original design this rifle is equally at home on the range or in a display case.
