Bushnell R3 Features The Bushnell R3 delivers 3 to 9x magnification through a 50mm objective lens gathering significantly more light than smaller-objective scopes and extending usable shooting light into early morning and late evening hours. The Multi-X reticle sits on the Second Focal Plane keeping a consistent size throughout the zoom range so it remains easy to see and use at any magnification setting whether a hunter is scanning a field edge at low power or settling in on a distant shot at full zoom. A one-piece 1 inch aluminum tube provides a durable field-ready platform that resists the bumps and knocks of hunting in rough terrain season after season. Capped target turrets protect the 65 MOA of windage and elevation adjustment from accidental movement during transport or handling so a zero set at the range stays put on the hunt. Every lens surface carries a multi-coated treatment paired with Bushnell s EXO Barrier which repels water oil dust and debris to keep the sight picture clear in adverse conditions cutting down on the time spent wiping down glass in the field. The scope is both fog proof and waterproof standing up to rain humidity and rapid temperature changes without fogging internally so it performs reliably from a chilly opening morning through a wet afternoon sit. At 16.9 ounces the R3 adds minimal weight to a hunting rifle while still delivering a full-size durable optic that balances well on typical hunting rifle platforms. The one-piece tube construction and capped turrets together make this a scope that can be mounted once and largely left alone freeing a hunter to focus on the animal rather than the equipment. For hunters who want dependable performance and a clear sight picture without a premium price tag the Bushnell R3 3-9x50 is a proven versatile choice for whitetail woods open plains and everything in between.
