Bushnell R7 Features The Bushnell R7 s first focal plane MOA reticle scales with magnification meaning holdover marks remain accurate for range estimation and bullet drop compensation at any power setting from 3x through 15x. The 50mm objective gathers ample light for shooting in low-light conditions such as dawn and dusk extending the practical shooting window for hunters working the edges of legal light. A 30mm maintube provides structural strength and supports the scope s elevation travel for engaging targets at extended distances giving the erector system room to move as yardage stretches out. Long-range hunters and shooters who need reliable reticle-based ranging at any magnification will benefit from this FFP design since the holdover marks never lose their true value as the power ring is adjusted. Precise 1/4 MOA turret clicks allow exact zeroing and fine adjustment when dialing rather than holding for a shot giving shooters flexibility in how they engage distant targets depending on the situation and available time. The matte black finish minimizes glare in the field and at 25 ounces the scope remains a reasonable weight to carry on a hunting rifle across long days on stand or on the move. The illuminated fiber optic reticle draws ambient light to stay visible without relying on a battery-powered illumination system so the aiming point stays sharp even as light fades late in the day. Shooters who want a versatile first focal plane optic for long-range hunting or shooting will find the R7 well equipped for the task pairing a wide zoom range with holdover capability that holds up from close cover to open country.
