Bushnell R7 Features The Bushnell R7 riflescope s 2-10x magnification range on a 42mm objective gives shooters the flexibility to engage close-range targets at low power and stretch out to mid-range shots at full zoom all from a single optic. Its second focal plane fiber-dot reticle stays a consistent size across the entire zoom range which keeps the sight picture uncluttered and easy to read at low power while still allowing precise holdovers at higher magnification. The 1/4 MOA turret clicks provide fine repeatable elevation and windage adjustments so shooters can dial in exact zero without guesswork without the frustration of coarser adjustment increments costing them precision on longer shots. This combination of a wide zoom range a clean SFP reticle and fine click values makes the R7 a strong choice for hunters moving between brush and open field shots where target distance can change in seconds. Built on a 30mm maintube for added structural rigidity the R7 is finished in matte black to minimize glare and reduce the optic s visual signature in the field an important trait for hunters working from a blind or stalking game at close range. At 21.9 ounces it stays light enough for all-day carry on a hunting rifle without unbalancing the gun or adding fatigue on a long day afield. The fiber optic illumination element on the reticle draws ambient light to keep the aiming point visible in low-contrast conditions such as dawn dusk or deep shade giving shooters a brighter aiming reference without the added cost or battery dependence of electronic illumination. Shooters seeking a rugged well-priced 2-10x optic for hunting or general-purpose rifle use will find the R7 a capable field-ready choice that balances durability clarity and value in one dependable package.
