evo.com | Public Snowboards Snowboards > The Public Snowboards General Select Snowboard is the original General with the volume cranked all the way up. It keeps that versatile all-mountain shape but adds Aramid strips and carbon stringers for more pop, dampening, and control when the speed picks up. Park laps, side hits, steeper lines, deeper days, this board sends it all with steeze to spare, making it the only board you need. True Twin 2 x 4 Insert Pattern Flex Rating 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) Poplar Core Public's Poplar Core is made of 100% FCS certified poplar wood. Poplar is the most common type of wood used in snowboard cores for its unbeatable strength to weight ratio and is why we make the majority of our boards with this core.
