evo.com | Public Snowboards Snowboards > The Public Snowboards Research Snowboard is the board you grab when you want to enjoy every part of the mountain. A directional take on Public's tried and true Alert Camber, it gives you reliable edge hold, easy control, and plenty of pop wherever you ride. Early rise in the tip and tail keeps turns smooth and forgiving, while the slightly bigger nose helps you float when the snow gets deep. Fast, lively, and ready for groomers, trees, and powder days alike. Directional 2 x 4 Insert Pattern Flex Rating 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) Urethane Sidewalls Urethane sidewalls are used in all Public boards for their superior dampening properties compared to the industry standard ABS and P-Tex sidewalls. Urethane sidewalls are more durable against impact on rocks or rails to prevent your board from delaminating when you get caught slippin' in the park or backcountry. Sintered Base Rather than melting polyethylene pellets together (extrusion), sintered bases are manufactured by crushing the pellets together under high pressure. This makes a sintered base more porous for maximum wax absorption, and more abrasion-resistant. In other words it makes the board faster and more durable! | Public Snowboards Research Snowboard 2027 - 157
