What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've ridden this pairing through everything from icy hardpack to blower pow, and it always performs. The Stratos carves like a dream on groomers and still floats when I dip into the trees, and the Mercury FASE's quick entry means I'm not wasting time at the top of the run."We take the Stratos Snowboard and Mercury FASE Binding Bundle into terrain that changes by the run, storm-fresh powder in the trees one lap, sun-baked corduroy the next, without ever needing to second-guess the setup. The tapered directional shape and hybrid rocker profile deliver surfy lift in soft snow and energetic edge hold on hardpack, so the transitions between conditions never feel like a compromise. The full poplar core and carbon flax stringers keep the board light and snappy while the 10mm taper cuts down on rear leg fatigue over a long day. The Mercury FASE bindings match that versatility strap for strap, their FASE fast entry system delivering the locked-in feel of a true two-strap binding with none of the time lost clicking in, so every lap starts a little faster than the last.
