"Men's On® Cloudultra 3: When the trail gets long and the terrain gets rough, the On Cloudultra 3 is the neutral trail running shoe that keeps working as hard as you do. Built for extended time on technical trails, it pairs responsive cushioning with reliable grip so you can stay focused on the miles ahead rather than what's underfoot. If you're the kind of runner who pushes deep into the backcountry and needs a shoe that holds up hour after hour, this is worth a serious look. The Cloudultra 3 uses Helion™ HF hyper foam in the midsole, which gives you a lively, rebounding feel underfoot without sacrificing the stability you need on uneven ground. The outsole is On's most advanced Missiongrip™ rubber, redesigned using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to optimize traction placement and performance across varied trail surfaces. Up top, the Leno woven upper is quick-drying and abrasion-resistant, with engineered zoning that balances breathability and support where your foot actually needs it. The result is a trail shoe that feels secure and capable whether you're grinding through a long mountain run or navigating a technical singletrack. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I took these out on a long trail run with some rocky sections and a creek crossing, and two things stood out - the grip never felt sketchy on wet rock, and my feet stayed comfortable well into the back half of the run. The foam has real rebound to it, which you notice when you're tired and still have miles to go."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForIf you run long on technical trails and need a neutral trail running shoe that can handle hours of effort without wearing you down, the Cloudultra 3 is a strong match. It's a great fit for trail runners who prioritize grip, cushioning, and a breathable upper that holds up to tough conditions - from mountain ultras to long weekend trail runs.
