Rearden R2S Flash Hider Features The Rearden R2S Flash Hider is a suppressor-ready flash hider manufactured from 17-4 PH stainless steel and threaded at 1/2x28 engineered for direct compatibility with Atlas Atlas XL and Plan B suppressor mounting systems for shooters who want a muzzle device that delivers flash suppression and a reliable suppressor interface in a single compact package. At 2.05 oz and 1.74 overall the R2S adds minimal weight and length to the host platform while maintaining full Atlas and Plan B interface functionality across any compatible suppressor setup. Shims are not included and may be required for proper timing depending on barrel configuration particularly on barrels where the manufacturer did not provide a thread relief. The gold heat treat 17-4 PH R2S flash hider achieves its distinctive wheat-toned gold finish through the H900 precipitation hardening process providing the material properties and surface characteristics that make 17-4 PH H900 a preferred choice for high-stress suppressor mounting hardware. The heat treat finish delivers a unique consistent appearance that sets this R2S variant apart from the standard nitride black configuration while maintaining the same precision machining and compatibility standards. Rearden was founded on the mission to be great and innovate and the R2S reflects that commitment in a flash hider that performs as well as it looks.
