Rearden R2S Flash Hider Features The Rearden R2S Flash Hider is a suppressor-ready flash hider manufactured from 17-4 PH stainless steel and threaded at 1/2x28 with a .40 bore square shoulder design engineered for direct compatibility with Atlas Atlas XL and Plan B suppressor mounting systems for shooters who want a muzzle device that delivers flash suppression and a reliable suppressor interface in a single compact package. The square shoulder provides a precise repeatable indexing surface that ensures consistent suppressor alignment and engagement with compatible Atlas and Plan B adapters under hard use. An alignment rod should always be used to ensure the entire system is properly set up and all surfaces should be cleaned with the muzzle device torqued and Rocksett-applied to the barrel before use. The black nitride 17-4 PH square shoulder flash hider achieves approximately 67 HRC surface hardness through the nitride treatment process providing superior wear resistance corrosion protection and a consistent black appearance through repeated suppressor attachment cycles and sustained heat exposure. Shims are not included and may be required for proper timing depending on barrel configuration particularly on barrels where the manufacturer did not provide a thread relief. Shooters should note that use on Q-brand suppressors voids the Q warranty.
