SureFire F05 Slip-On Filter Features The SureFire F05 Slip-On Filter slips directly over 1 to 1.125 diameter bezels on select SureFire models for a secure no-tool installation that keeps the filter accessible and in place during field and tactical use. The red filter preserves the user s scotopic vision in low-light environments and improves contrast for reading red-light readable topographic maps during navigation and mission planning. A flip-open design allows the filter to be moved out of the light path instantly when white light is needed without removing or stowing the filter separately. The slip-on bezel filter provides secondary protection to the flashlight window against scratches and impact in addition to its primary function as a color filter for night vision preservation and map reading applications. Compatible with SureFire WeaponLight bezels measuring 1 to 1.125 in diameter the F05 fits a wide range of SureFire Scout Light and handheld flashlight platforms without modification. Black construction blends with standard SureFire weapon light finishes for a low-profile tactical appearance on the host light.
