Specialized S-Works Epic 9 Frameset206 Grams Lighter. Zero Compromises. XC racers who want every possible advantage at the start line have exactly what they need here. The S-Works Epic 9 Frameset starts with the FACT 12m carbon and a complete revamp of where weight could be removed - not just in one spot, but across every tube, junction, and linkage in the frame. The result is the lightest full-suspension XC frame ever made. At 120mm of travel, the kinematics are tuned for traction and efficiency first, with the suspension friction cut by 11% over the previous generation so the frame stays active without robbing your power. Progressive XC race geometry puts you in a centered, controlled position on technical terrain without sacrificing climbing efficiency on long efforts. If you're building a dedicated race weapon, this is the canvas to start with.
