"Men's Merrell® SpeedARC Matis Jelly: The SpeedARC Matis Jelly is Merrell's fast hiking sneaker built to move between street and trail without missing a beat. This limited-edition version adds a ""jelly"" re-materialization - fun pops of color and a unique texture that make it stand out before you even hit the path. Underneath the eye-catching look is a shoe that takes hiking footwear seriously, with a FloatPro+ Foam two-part midsole that keeps cushioning consistent mile after mile, and a Vibram® MegaGrip outsole that holds its grip on both dry and wet surfaces. The FlexPlate technology inside the midsole adds torsional rigidity and lateral stability while still allowing natural forefoot flexibility - so the shoe feels controlled on uneven terrain without fighting your stride. The upper combines breathable mesh with TPU overlays and a molded TPU heel counter that keeps your foot locked in on technical ground. A padded collar adds comfort around the ankle, and the removable EVA foam footbed is treated with Cleansport NXT for natural odor control. The laces are 60% recycled, and both the mesh upper and footbed cover use 100% recycled materials - a detail worth noting if sustainability factors into your gear choices. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I took these out on a mixed route - some pavement, some dirt trail - and they handled both without feeling like a compromise. The grip from the Vibram outsole is the real deal, and the midsole cushioning held up through the whole outing. The jelly colorway is genuinely fun, too."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForIf you want a fast hiking sneaker that transitions from city sidewalks to trail surfaces without swapping shoes, the SpeedARC Matis Jelly is worth a close look.
