"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I took the Dagger 22L on a long ridge day with a lot of elevation change, and the arched compression strap system kept my load locked in even on the steeper scrambling sections. The stretch side pockets were perfect for grabbing my water bottle on the move without ever stopping to dig through the main compartment.""Every ounce matters on a long day in the mountains, and Granite Gear built the Dagger 22L Daypack with that reality in mind. The Robic HT nylon construction is tough enough to take a beating on rocky terrain while keeping the pack itself featherlight, so the weight on your back is your gear and not your bag. At 22 liters there is enough room for everything a full day out demands, from layers and lunch to a first aid kit and a headlamp for the inevitable later-than-planned descent. What sets the Dagger apart from a basic daypack is the thoughtfulness packed into every detail. The arched compression strap system is Granite Gear's signature move, cinching your load close to your back so it moves with you rather than against you on uneven ground. A removable frame sheet gives you the structure you want on heavier loads and the option to strip it out when you are going ultralight. Stretch woven side pockets and a front stash pocket mean your snacks, sunscreen, and summit layers are always one quick reach away, and the internal hydration sleeve keeps a reservoir tucked neatly out of the way until you need it."
