"Women's Altra® Olympus 6 Hike Low GTX: The Olympus 6 Hike Low GTX is a waterproof women's hiking shoe built for long days on technical terrain. Whether you're navigating wet trails, loose rock, or unpredictable weather, this low-cut hiker keeps you moving comfortably from the first mile to the last. GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit provides lightweight waterproof protection without adding bulk, so your feet stay dry without the shoe feeling heavy. The EVA midsole with max cushion means you'll actually feel good at the end of a long day on the trail, not just at the start.Altra® built this shoe around a leather upper for durability and downhill comfort - a real advantage when you're descending steep or rocky sections. The constructed collar wraps the ankle for a stable, secure feel on uneven ground, and the Vibram® Megagrip outsole holds its grip on both wet and dry surfaces. The Original FootShape™ Fit gives your toes room to spread naturally, which makes a noticeable difference over miles of hiking. If you size up a half size as recommended, the fit feels roomy through the toe box without sacrificing hold through the midfoot. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I love recommending this one to hikers who want real waterproof protection without a stiff, heavy shoe. The toe box is genuinely roomy - your feet have space to move, which matters a lot on longer hikes. The Vibram outsole gives you confidence on slick surfaces, and the cushioning holds up well when you're putting in serious miles."" - Rachel, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Carlsbad, CAWho It's Best ForIf you hike in variable conditions and want a waterproof low-cut hiking shoe that can handle technical terrain without weighing you down, the Olympus 6 Hike Low GTX is worth a close look.
