For the first time in decades, Sage introduces a completely redesigned graphite technology in the Sage R8 Core Fly Rod. Expect nothing less than complete control and multi-application versatility from the flagship model in the Sage fly-rod lineup. Rod makers focused on rhythm and feel rather than the one-sided pursuit of extreme distance and brute power now so commonplace in the market. The re-engineered graphite fibers shift energy further down the blank and into the handle for enhanced sensitivity and increased reaction time to engage every strike. Building on resin and composite advancements from previous generations, the Sage R8 Core fly rod dares for you to rethink what's possible on the water.
